Laren Eriksen
Laren is a dedicated yoga teacher and lifelong student with over a decade of experience, rooted in the discipline and tradition of Ashtanga Yoga. Her early training established a strong foundation in breath, structure, and mindful movement, which continues to inform her approach to both practice and teaching. While maintaining a committed Ashtanga practice, Laren has evolved toward Rocket Yoga, where she explores the intelligent balance between structure and creativity, strength and freedom, discipline and play.
Laren’s teaching is grounded in consistency, curiosity, and deep respect for traditional lineages, while making the practice accessible, empowering, and relevant for modern practitioners. She has trained with internationally respected teachers including Ambra Vallo, Jason Crandell, Leon London, David Kyle, and David Swenson, and draws from these influences to guide students toward confident, sustainable practice.
American-born and based in Madrid, Spain, Laren teaches Rocket, Ashtanga, and Power Yoga, and regularly leads handstand and arm balance workshops. In this 50-hour Rocket Yoga Teacher Training, she is committed to supporting teachers and dedicated students in deepening their understanding of Rocket methodology, refining technique, and cultivating strength, awareness, and intelligent sequencing both on and off the mat.
